Millennium Technologies

This site is operated by Millennium Technologies for itself. This privacy policy applies to the practices of Millennium Technologies with respect to the information it collects about you online at its web site, www.millennium-tech.net.

The information we collect

Millennium Technologies collects your Client Identifiable Information if you visit our web site and wish to register, purchase products, obtain information regarding one of our products or services, request other information, or otherwise communicate with us about our offerings. “Client Identifiable Information” means any information relating to a natural person or organization who can be identified, directly or indirectly, from that information by reference to an identification number or to one or more factors specific to his or her physical, physiological, mental, economic, cultural or social identity. The Client Identifiable Information we collect about you can include name, address, telephone number, E-mail address, credit card number and expiration date, password, preferred E-Commerce dealer, purchase history, IP address, what web sites visitors come from, which pages are visited at this web site, and information about online activities that are directly linked to them. This information may be merged with other information Millennium Technologies already knows, such as whether you are a client of Millennium Technologies or information available from other sources such as credit card verification and credit services and dealers.

How we use the information

Millennium Technologies will collect and use your Client Identifiable Information to render services to you; respond to your inquiries; market and sell to you products, programs, and services offered by Millennium Technologies; and market and sell to you Millennium Technologies products, programs, and services offered by its dealers and business alliance companies. In addition, Millennium Technologies may use Client Identifiable Information to conduct other legitimate business activities, such as protecting the security of the web site and of Millennium Technologies’ networks, guarding against potential liability, engaging in debt collection, responding to a court order or subpoena, preventing fraud, complying with law, and complying with a legally permitted inquiry by a government agency or regulator.

If necessary for the purposes mentioned above, Millennium Technologies may transfer your Client Identifiable Information to third parties and these third parties may use your Client Identifiable Information for such purposes. These third parties may include Millennium Technologies’ dealers, advisors, companies providing products and services (such as IT systems suppliers) to Millennium Technologies and, to the extent required by law, regulatory authorities (including tax authorities). Millennium Technologies also may transfer your Client Identifiable Information to its business alliance companies that have entered into a contract with Millennium Technologies to offer, endorse, or sponsor a Millennium Technologies product, program, or service.

If the version of this web site you are using allows you to purchase products or services online, your Client Identifiable Information will be used to complete any transactions you wish to enter into, including credit card processing and credit checks. Your name, address, E-mail address, telephone number and, where applicable, credit card information and purchase details, will be shared with the Millennium Technologies associate or dealer who will fulfill your order. Please note that Millennium Technologies dealers are independent from Millennium Technologies. However, the participating dealers have agreed not to use Client Identifiable Information submitted in connection with an order made through this web site for any purpose other than the purposes identified above.

Millennium Technologies is in the process of contractually requiring other third parties to whom we transfer your Client Identifiable Information to use your Client Identifiable Information only within the context of their agreement(s) with Millennium Technologies, and only for the purposes stated above, including direct marketing of products or services to you. At present, however, not all third parties are so contractually bound, and some third parties may use your Client Identifiable Information for other purposes. In addition, some third parties that have received your Client Identifiable Information may not be required to allow you to opt out of their use of such information for direct marketing.

You may request, at any time, that the Client Identifiable Information you provide on the Registration page or when updating your profile not be used for direct marketing purposes by millennium-tech.net, or transferred by millennium-tech.net to third parties for marketing purposes, by emailing to info@millennium-tech.net.

Changing the selection in the My Personal Info page of the My Profile section will not remove your Client Identifiable Information from other Millennium Technologies programs in which you may have enrolled through Millennium Technologies’ web site or from other lists maintained by Millennium Technologies. Nor will it remove your Client Identifiable Information from lists maintained by Millennium Technologies dealers (including dealers who received your Client Identifiable Information to fulfill your online purchases) and persons and companies providing services to Millennium Technologies. You should contact these third parties directly if you have any questions or concerns regarding their use of your Client Identifiable Information.

Our use of “cookies” and other computer information

As is the case with many sites, when you visit our site and complete a registration form, we will place a “cookie” on your computer, which helps us identify you more quickly when you return. Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive and are used in web site system administration to keep track of movement of an individual from one screen to another. We will use “cookies,” alone or in conjunction with other devices described below, to understand how you arrived at our web sites, to determine which pages or information you find most useful or interesting at our own web sites, and to make choices about how to deliver the most relevant marketing messages about our products to you. This information may also be used by our staff to detect and resolve web site problems and to assist with client support concerns.

Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually change your browser settings to prevent acceptance of a “cookie” offered by a web site. If you experience any problems using our web site, please contact Millennium Technologies, 1404 Pilgrim Road, Plymouth, Wisconsin 53073 USA, Attention: webmaster, or e-mail us at info@millennium-tech.net.

We also use transparent GIF files, or pixel tags, and similar technologies to help manage online advertising. These files, which are provided by our third party ad management partners, enable our ad management partners to recognize a unique cookie on your web browser. This, in turn, allows our ad management partners to provide us with data concerning visitors’ activities on our site, track and measure the performance of our marketing efforts and assist in the delivery of relevant marketing messages. These technologies are placed by us, or by another third party who works with our ad management partners to provide these services. With both cookies and pixel tag technology, the information that we collect and share is anonymous and not personally identifiable. It does not contain your name, address, telephone number, or e-mail address.

To prevent unauthorized access to your Client Identifiable Information, we have put in place physical, electronic, and managerial procedures. We will use various electronic means to keep transaction information transferred over the web as secure as generally available transaction technology reasonably permits.

Our web pages may offer promotions that are sponsored by or co-sponsored with identified third parties. By virtue of their sponsorship, these third parties may obtain Client Identifiable Information that visitors voluntarily submit to participate in the activity. We have no control over these third parties’ use of this information and we encourage you to consult their privacy policies for more information on their privacy practices.

In addition, you should be aware that the issuer of your credit card may also independently collect information about your online purchase. We have no control over these third parties’ use of information. You should consult your credit card issuer’s privacy policy for more information on its privacy practices.

To improve your web experience, and to offer you products in which you might be interested, we provide links to business alliance companies, Millennium Technologies dealers, and other third-party sites. When you click on one of these links, you will be transferred out of our web site and connected to the web site of the organization or company that you selected. Because Millennium Technologies does not control these sites (even if an affiliation exists between our web sites and a third party site), you are encouraged to review their individual privacy notices. If you visit a web site that is linked to our sites, you should consult that site’s privacy policy before providing any Client Identifiable Information.

This Privacy Policy may change from time to time, and any changes will be posted here. If we materially change our privacy practices to permit us to share more information about you than we stated we would share, or to permit disclosures of information about you to additional types of parties, we will take reasonable measures to inform you of these changes in advance. You will then have a reasonable opportunity to change your opt-out preference.
